Salem is beyond blessed to welcome Mrs. Corissa Sheets as our new Principal!

With a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Bachelor's degree in English from Concordia University Irvine as well as nine years of experience teaching a variety of grades, including Kindergarten, 3rd grade, 5th grade, and Middle School Language Arts, Mrs. Sheets brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her position as Principal.

Her positive, collaborative, open communication style and welcoming smile poise Salem for an exciting and impactful year.

"One of the things I had always hoped to find," said Mrs. Sheets, "is a school to feel like home. I felt that really quickly here. Our transition has been smooth, and people have been sincere and welcoming. We felt at home at Salem really quickly."

Mrs. Sheets is excited to work to help new families feel the same way she has felt. "Our hearts and rooms have space for more families and students!"

She has been sincerely impressed with our excellent programs here at Salem, such as our Fine Arts programs, which she feel is unmatched in this area.

Mrs. Sheets is married to a fabulous electrician, Brian. They have two adorable children: Landon (6th grade) and Delaney (Preschool) who are excited to continue their education at Salem this fall.
