A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR
Greetings in the name of our risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. What an honor and privilege it is for me to be able to serve God's people here at Salem Lutheran Church and School as Vacancy Pastor! The friendships I have developed over the years, and those I look forward to developing in the time ahead, make this service especially rewarding.
I want to invite you and encourage you to stop by the church office and say 'hi.' I also want to invite you and encourage you to solicit from me any pastoral care you may need or desire. My office hours are Tuesdays 9:00-4:00, Thursdays 9:00-1:00, and Saturdays 8:00-noon. Of course I am always available for any emergencies. My idea of a pastor is one who shepherds, who points people to Jesus and who shows love to those entrusted by God to his care.
These are exciting days at Salem as together we boldly proclaim what God has done in Christ Jesus. We are so blessed as a congregation! It is my prayer that together we use our gifts to build up one another and to reach out to those still searching for the Truth - who is Jesus Christ.
